Bad customer service

During their New Year’s weekend promotion where I spent $320 after a 30% discount and subsequently discovered I had bought a pair of pants twice, I attempted to return and then spend more money than the return so I wouldn’t have to pay for return shipping. Their automated return process only allows you to exchange one item for one item. If you buy something more expensive, it won’t float you the promotional discount on the difference. If you buy something cheaper, they do an even exchange, allowing you to keep the residual of the discount you originally got plus charge you return shipping. The reason why I bought the pair of pants twice to begin with is because they don’t have an order history link on your online account. Customer service was gone the entire weekend until January 3, when the promotion ended. I was in disbelief when they said “no“, that they wouldn’t float me the 30% off on the difference in the amount. Talk about being petty. This is just common sense. Naturally, I did a Google search to leave my review everywhere I could, and, of course, could not find a review website that listed them. However, I did post my experience to various clothing forums. I’ll think twice before buying from this company again.
